1. Who this covers
These terms are between you (the instructor operating on Splashbook) and the families who book lessons through your Splashbook booking page. Splashbook provides the scheduling and booking software; it is not a party to the lessons themselves.
2. Bookings and cancellations
Bookings made through your page are confirmed once accepted. Cancellation, notice, and no-show terms are the ones you set under Settings → Booking policy → Lesson policies & rules, shown to families before they confirm a booking.
3. Payments
Splashbook tracks payments and balances for your records but does not process payments or hold funds — no payment processor is integrated. All payment arrangements are between you and the family directly.
4. Liability
Swim instruction carries inherent risk. Families must accept your liability waiver (set under Settings → Booking policy) before a booking is confirmed if you've enabled one. Splashbook disclaims responsibility for the conduct of lessons, which remain solely between you and the family.
5. Account termination
Either party may close the account at any time. Data you've entered (students, schedules, payment records) can be exported or deleted on request.
Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Instructor account details (email, profile info) and, for families booking lessons, guest name, email, phone number, and any notes entered at booking. Payment records store amounts and status only — no card or bank details are collected or stored.
2. How it's used
Solely to operate the booking, scheduling, and payment-tracking features of the app — sending confirmation emails, reminders, and letting you manage your students and schedule. Data is not sold or shared with third parties beyond the services needed to run the app (e.g. email delivery).
3. Data retention
Data is retained for as long as the account is active. Instructors can request deletion of their account and associated family/student data at any time.
